Splash Pad Project Update

·Temporary Certificate of Operations was awarded on January 28, 2019.

· Staff is coordinating on scheduling a site inspection and equipment training from Vortex and Crown Pools for members of Staff to include Arsenault Pool, the district’s pool service provider.

· Board approved TuffCoat which is an aesthetically pleasing finish coating applied to the splash pad surface.  Provides an attractive, highly durable, impact resistant, non-slip surface. TuffCoat is tentatively scheduled for February 11, 2019.

·     Board and Staff remain sensitive and aware of March 15, 2019, is the beginning of St Johns County Schools Spring Break; we are optimistic the splash pad will be open.
